Anathema Needs Portuguese History!

So, as you may or may not know, my comic Anathema takes place in 1810 A.D. Having a comic in a historical setting means I need to do research in order to make it somewhat historically accurate. Currently, I'm looking for what was going on in the 19th century (around 1810) in Portugal. Don't suppose I've got some history buffs watching me?

So you managed to cause me to join Drunk Duck, just to show your comic a little fandom it so deserves.

My comic is on the watch list of 445 people on drunkduck, including yourself. I think it's a nice little following. If all 445 people buy the book... well, that would be just awesome =)

That is a great following. Great start. Any thoughts on hitting the Con scene to help gain additional followers?

When do you plan on putting out the book? I wouldn't mind having a copy. ^_^

For cons, I don't know, I'd like to scope the scene out first and the only ones I'd be able to afford to get to are in Montreal, so... we'll see. Rebecca (artist)... you'd have to ask her.
As for when we'll publish, mid-July is looking good.

Yeah, con travel can be crazy costly. I currently don't bother, eventually I will have to.

Mid-July sounds good. Keep me posted so I can save up some pennies.
